January 1946:
Mingladon Huts, 18 miles north of Rangoon.

January 1946:
Statement: We were taken by transport to Rangoon Docks, we got into the tank landing craft and were then taken out to Monkey point about 3 miles down the river to our boat, as the river was not deep enough for the ship to pull into the Docks.

06 February 1946:
Statement: We were at a sugar factory at Zeyawadi when the war finished.

1946:
Statement: The other place I remember being station at was Mingaladon, it had an airfield there. Sgt-Maj XXXX, he was a ‘B’ Man, when we were there.

Statement 2: Bob XXXX, and Norman XXXX, who were R.A.F. and stationed at Mingaladon just off Rangoon.

10 July 1946:
Statement & Picture: 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, Guard room. On guard duty is Pte. Green, 10.07.1946, Kalaw, Burma.

02 October 1946:
Statement & Picture: B Coy 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment. R.S.M. drill parade 2.10.1946, Kalaw, Burma.

December 1946:
Statement: August 14th saw an official end to hostilities, and in December my name came out of the hat for blighty leave? This was the last time my name would be in. After being rushed to Rangoon the boat did not have room for me, so for a month my soldiering consisted of waiting for the next boat and I was home in mid-February.
