Albert Collins lived in, or around, Newbury, Berkshire. Serving his country for 14 years with the Royal Berkshire Regiment and a further seven years as a reserve. In the 1920s Albert, who was know to his comrades as Bert, served in Plymouth in 1925, and six years in Fyzabad, India, also seeing service with the BEF at Dunkirk.  |

              age 27. The son of Thomas and Alice Hill; stepson of Mrs. A. G. 
              Hill, of Hainault, Ilford, Essex.  | 
      
Edward (Ed) also had a twin 
              brother Thomas Hill 5334556 of the 2nd Battalion. Contributed by 
              his granddaughter Joanne James.  |

George Moles was attached to a Canadian
            unit during the D Day landings and was wounded during Operation Market
        Garden. He left the army in 1945 due to his injuries.  |

              details are - R Berks - A1 - AB1 5549099? CoE. Henry Murcott served 
              his country for 7 years returning home to Henley-on-Thames where 
              his wife and daughter awaited his return. Sadly Henry Murcott passed 
              away in 2001 at the age of 88.  |

Williams nick name was 'Stodger' and it is believed he was in the catering corp. He possibly boxed for his battalion. Sadly William passed away in 2004.  |
